Event Recap
We are pleased to report that our first Women’s History Month Virtual Salon was a huge hit! The event featured three films: Dee Johnson on Civil War hero, Mary Edwards Walker; Sonay Hoffman on enslaved novelist, Hannah Crafts; Brittany Ashley on researcher/author, Brené Brown. Each storyteller joined us to speak about her film and how it related to our theme of female resilience, now when we need it most. Guests went into breakout groups to create a more intimate experience before we all joined together for a group Q&A with the panel led by our event moderator, Brittany Ashley. Once again, this afternoon of inspiration reminded us that we need to keep filming, sharing and archiving the stories of the unsung women who change the world!
