Brittany Ashley is a Chicago-born, Second City sketch writing grad. She created video content for three years at BuzzFeed Video in its heyday, where she wrote/produced digital series, viral short films and 100+ sketches. Since then, Brittany wrote on a DreamWorks TV series, wrote and created an LGBTQ news show on Logo, and created a grief/pop culture podcast called Don’t Tell The Babysitter Mom’s Dead, where she interviews other guests who have lost a parent. Most recently, Brittany was an Outfest Screenwriting Lab Finalist. She’s an expert in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and female-fronted rock bands from the 90s.

Brené Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston where she holds the Huffington Endowed Chair. She’s spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy. She’s the author of four books: The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, Rising Strong, and Braving the Wilderness. Her latest book, Dare to Lead: Brave Work. Tough Conversations. Whole Hearts., was released in October 2018, and is the culmination of a seven-year study on courage and leadership.
