Brittany Ashley is a screenwriter with a passion for making content geared towards young women. She’s emerged as a powerful queer female voice in the digital media space who is most well-known for video content she created while at BuzzFeed Motion Pictures. She wrote and hosted an LGBT news show on Logo, is in development for her first feature with Gunpowder & Sky, and is currently working on Netflix’s Twelve Forever.

Brené Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston where she holds the Huffington Endowed Chair. She’s spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy. She’s the author of four books: The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, Rising Strong, and Braving the Wilderness. Her latest book, Dare to Lead: Brave Work. Tough Conversations. Whole Hearts., was released in October 2018, and is the culmination of a seven-year study on courage and leadership.
