“Feel the fear and do it anyway.”

As part of Look What SHE Did!'s 2023 Women's History Month Festival, we presented a series of three virtual screening events organized around women who are LOUD, BOSSY, and BOLD. This event featured films on early African-American haircare entrepreneurs, Madame CJ Walker and Annie Turnbo Malone. Panelists featured included actress/producer Andrea Lewis, CEO Schenae Rourk and writer/producer Wendy Calhoun. Hosted by Sylvia Hathaway Chavez, the event also showed clips from the new documentary series "The Black Beauty Effect" (streaming on Xfinity and Xumo).
