Melinda White

Melinda White is a former CEO and current corporate board member. Her leadership, ranging from start-up to serving as a Fortune 500 Section 16 Officer, delivers transformation and P&L growth. Currently, Melinda works with public and PE-backed portfolio companies to stabilize, restructure, and grow valuation. She is a strategic thought leader with extensive success in growth transformation. Heraccomplishments bring forward a deep understanding and appreciation of the customer, internal and external. She navigates an organization across multiple platforms, with an ability to see around the corner, leading to sustainable growth.

Melinda is a Board Director with Switch Data Center, (representing Aware Super) and Skywire Networks (owned by Nova Infrastructure). She serves as Audit Chair on the Skywire board. Past and current board roles include AI, SaaS, digital media technology, and community leadership. She brings forward more than 25 years of senior leadership in wireless and wireline network design/build, media and telecommunications with expertise in cloud-based
solutions, consumer/enterprise product, and competitive go-to-market operations across 4G/5G, public-private partnerships, SaaS/PaaS, ILEC/CLEC operations. Melinda is the former CEO of Transit Wireless, a subsidiary of the Canadian Pension Fund (CPPIB) majority owned Boldyn Networks, the global industry leading design, build, and operator of 4G/5G communications infrastructure. During her 5-year tenure, she led the strategy and execution to negotiate the largest network deal of its kind with the Metro Transportation Authority (MTA) in New York City. This transformational 30-year license with Transit Wireless substantially increased shareholder and and will provide mobile and Wi-Fi network connectivity across all New York City Subway properties. Leading a NYC-based team of engineers, Melinda diversified the business and brought Amtrak, Port Authority, Wholesale Fiber, Advertising and Analytics business to the portfolio. Under Melinda’s leadership, the organization, culture, and financial outlook was transformed.

Prior to joining Transit Wireless as CEO, Melinda served as Region President of Frontier Communications (FYBR Nasdaq) $3B P&L, 7000 employee organization across CA, WA, and OR. During her tenure, consumer broadband and video market share improved an average of over 3% annually, with the enterprise business increasing an average of 2.1%. Melinda stepped in with the West Region ranked 4th out of 5 Regions. Within 18 months, the West Region was #1 and remained so throughout her tenure. A recognized industry leader, Melinda was named to the 2023 NYC Transportation Power 100 and the 2021 NYC Telecommunications Power 50. Melinda was also named as a 2023 Girl Scouts of NY Gold Achievement honoree. In addition, she has been acknowledged for her talent sponsorship in gender and ethnic diversity, LGBTQ+, and other under-represented communities, drawing from her own
experience as a Korean American.

Maggie Wilderotter

Maggie Wilderotter is an American businesswoman who has made significant contributions to the telecommunications industry. Born in 1955 in New Jersey, Wilderotter began her career in the telecommunications industry in the 1980s, and rose through the ranks at several major companies, including AT&T, Microsoft, and Frontier Communications.

In 2004, Wilderotter was named CEO of Frontier Communications, becoming the first woman to lead a Fortune 500 telecommunications company. Under her leadership, Frontier Communications experienced significant growth and expansion, with the company acquiring several smaller telecommunications providers and expanding its customer base across the United States. Wilderotter stepped down as CEO in 2015, but remained involved in the company as Executive Chairman of the Board until 2016.

Throughout her career, Wilderotter has been a vocal advocate for gender equality and women’s leadership, and has served on several boards and committees focused on promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her contributions to the telecommunications industry and her advocacy work, including the Women’s Executive Network’s “Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100” award and the National Diversity Council’s “Most Powerful and Influential Women” award. Wilderotter remains an influential and respected figure in the business world, and her leadership and contributions continue to inspire and impact the industry.
