Felicity Huffman earned an Academy Award nomination for her performance in Transamerica, as well as a Golden Globe Award and Independent Spirit Award for the same role. Huffman has also been honored with an Emmy and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role on “Desperate Housewives.” Most recently Huffman can be seen on the ABC series “American Crime” for which she was nominated for a Best Actress Emmy and Golden Globe for her portrayal of Barb Hanlon in the premiere season, Leslie Graham in the second season and Jeanette Hesby in the third season. Huffman is a founding member of the Atlantic Theater Company, an off-Broadway theater company where she was also featured in numerous plays. She resides in Los Angeles with her two children and her husband, William H. Macy.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg received her B.A. from Cornell University, attended Harvard Law School, and received her LL.B. from Columbia Law School. In 1971, she was instrumental in launching the Women’s Rights Project of the American Civil Liberties Union, and served as the ACLU’s General Counsel from 1973–1980, and on the National Board of Directors from 1974–1980. She was appointed a Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit in 1980. President Clinton nominated her as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, and she took her seat August 10, 1993.
