Juliette Carrillo


Juliette Carrillo is a nationally recognized theatre director, writer and award-winning filmmaker from Los Angeles, CA. A graduate of the Yale School of Drama, Juliette is most known for directing her productions of LYDIA by Octavio Solis. Carrillo’s screenplay, SuperChicas was one of four feature projects selected nationwide for the National Association of Latino Independent Producer’s (NALIP) Latino Producer’s Lab in Santa Fe.

JoAnne Akalaitis


JoAnne Akalaitis is an avant-garde Lithuanian American theatre director and writer. She is the winner of five Obie Awards for direction (and sustained achievement) and founder of the critically acclaimed Mabou Mines in New York. She has staged works at Lincoln Center Theater, Court Theater, Opera Theater of Saint Louis, and The Guthrie Theater.
